Earlier today I held a small meeting with some of the development team here at Red Hat for Spacewalk 06 release, reviewing a proposed plan for scope of content and time frame. Details from meeting follows.

Cliff.

In meeting - Justin, Prad, John, Cliff, Jesus, Jan, Devan, Dennis
Absent - Milan & Jeff

Space06 - details
When - August 7th
Feature Devel complete - July 29th
Feature testing, upgrades and integration from July 29th > Aug 5th
Release process for Aug 7th date

What to get done / Scope:
1) Misc bugs - space06 tracker
AI Cliff - I need to re-review space06 and prioritize this list for time we have
2) Features
 postgreSQL merge - Jeff Ortel
  - AI - schema validation pre merge
- Code is all ready. Jeff plans to run validation tests as part of merge.
  - chameleon package in build roots
  - I need everyone available to help fix and clean up post merge.

 Fedora 11 client - Prad
  - repo generation mostly done, some UI and misc code
   - Satellite-sync specific changes will be done in Spacewalk 07 cycles
(feature from spec is split into two parts now)
- client code changes, rhnpush, rhn_package_manager, yum-rhn-plugin - mostly warnins, nothing serious right now.

Install Spacewalk on F11 - Devan
  - 3 SELinux build errors, a monitoring package
- working through the issues once done, we can try and test and see what else is needed

 yum repo-sync - Justin & Prad
  - jbowes maybe to help or Prad.
- Changed in spec to be done. Proposed is to have small command line tool which taskomatic executes for syncing/importing from a yum repo content.

 Reporting Scripts - Jan
  - reporting - see spec, phase 1 implementation
- SELinux policy errors - risk - we may not ship SELinux with Space06 for Fedora 11 OS, since primary developer is also tasked in completing this feature.

 jabberd - Devan
- fix it. Once F11 installable is complete, Devan plans to spend time trying to fix and make it all work smoothly.

 KVM support - Prad
- This is 95% done. Just some small changes for restart with KVM, which does not work, capture and report the error back up.

3) Upgrades - Milan (hopefully 2 or 3 days needed)

Who:
 Jeff - postgreSQL, misc bugs
 Prad - sha256, yum repo-sync, KVM + bugs
 Justin - yum-repo-sync + bugs
 Jan - reporting + bugs
Devan - Fedora 11 OS, jabberd, installer, postgreSQL, bugs

Plan is to meet again next week to see how things have progressed.

Cliff
