So yesterday we had status meeting, notes below. Post meeting I walked
through the space06 tracker and all unassociated spacewalk bugs.

Right now we have 74 bugs directly associated with space06:
NEW - 28
ASSIGNED - 7
MODIFIED - 30
ON_QA - 5
VERIFIED - 4
As such, once the features look stable, review this list and attempt to
address bugs. I am pretty certain that most of the cobbler/provisioning
ISE's have already been fixed due to Satellite QE cycles, we just need
to confirm and move the bugs to MODIFIED state. This is a general pool
of bugs, so anyone can grab and help. It is small though since we are on
a tight time line for Space06. Now, meeting notes..
What to get done / Scope:
1) Misc bugs - space06 tracker - need to complete triage - DONE now.
2) Features
- postgreSQL merge - Jeff Ortel
- schema validation/diff tool was ran last week making sure that the
postgres branch shows up with zero differences to that on master.
- right now, everything looks go to initiate merge. Merge to happen
Monday. Upgrades will be impacted slightly due to this change/merge.
- chameleon package 0.2 is in build roots. Package review submitted
and pending.
- Fedora 11 client - Prad
- Added to channel creation & edit page to allow selection of
check-sum of type to be used in yum meta-data.
- F11, RHEL 5 testing done - F10 and CentOS 5 not tested
- fixed rhnpush, rhn_package_manager client side done. Client side
done, server side not completed. Most python 2.6 issues fixed for client
code.
- repo checksum done. Package checksum for each file within yum file
not done in this version.
- F11 client code functional, inc our yum plugin. Picks up events OK.
- Install Spacewalk on F11 - Devan
- Looking good, except for un-tested SELinux packages
- yum repo-sync - Justin & Prad
- Justin made progress. Create a small script which taskomatic calls.
repo-sync would use exactly same code path as rhnpush, sat-sync.. grab
packages from yum repo and then import into Satellite. Seems to be
mostly functional right now in basic testing by Prad.
- Reporting Scripts - Jan
- reporting
- Command Line script - does a command line SQL - inventory is
completed. Entitlement/errata report in progress. Created spacewalk wiki
on reporting. Spoke with Sayli about moving queries/reporting into the
API layer as well.
- SELinux policy errors -
- All Fedora 11 SELinux build related issues - we should be able to
build packages and then see if policy's are functional
- jabberd - Devan
- DONE using jabberd 2.2.18 from EPEL Testing
- KVM support - Prad
- DONE
3) Upgrades - Milan (hopefully 2 or 3 days needed)
- Nothing so far, wait for Schema to settle down - hopefully by end of
the week to start process and testing

PS - Jeff - the postgres merge makes me very happy - great job, long
time coming and a lot of work by Jeff and Devan over the months to get
to this point.
