RHN-Satellite has an errata for this:

Almost all other fixes from that errata were also committed
in spacewalk.git except the lvm fix. Could someone please
merge this one? I'm facing this right now an cannot provision
virtual guests due to this.
Well there is nothing to merge. That fix went to koan package, which is
part of cobbler.

And as far as I can see, they have it commited to their git as commit

in Mon Aug 8 18:40:14 2011 -0300
And that is included in cobbler-2.2.0-1, which is currently in testing.
Just be aware that we did not teste cobbler 2.2 yet together with
Spacewalk and it is known to not work with Spacewalk on EL5.
