Package spacewalk-backend-app do that:
Obsoletes: spacewalk-backend-xp < 1.8.33
Provides: spacewalk-backend-xp = %{version}-%{release}
So you should investigate why yum does not decided to upgrade
spacewalk-backend-app. Did you run "yum upgrade" or some other command?
