I'm trying to utilize spacewalk-proxy to pxe boot servers in remote geographic locations. In the pxe config I point the kickstart to the spacewalk-proxy server. The spacewalk-proxy server goes to the spacewalk server and downloads the kickstart, but does not replace the $server variable correctly. For example: ks=http://129.168.0.1/cblr/svc/op/ks/profile/test the $server variables is replaced with 192.168.0.1.<domain name of spacewalk server> instead of 192.168.0.1 I'm willing to help fix the bug, but need some assistance in finding what file(s) in the spacewalk-proxy code base do the substitution. You should have configured name of Spacewalk server on Proxy in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf as FQDN. Then the substitution should work.
