Did you verify the host is in the /etc/hosts file?

Hello,

I would like to be able to ignore this message, but when it happens the setup
aborts, and I have never been able to go to next step like I can see in the
WiKi doc.
The rhn-installation.log contains this error :
ERROR: RHN Entitlement Certificate failed to validate:
Exception reported from FQDN of our server

Regards,
Florent

Hello,

I am trying to install SpaceWalk on a CentOS 5.2 like described in
the Wiki documentations, but the command "spacewalk-setup
--disconnected" is finishing in error : ... ...

It seems that spacewalk-setup uses the command
"/usr/bin/rhn-satellite-activate". When I try this command without
any parameter, I get this error : NOTE: using backup cert as
default: /etc/sysconfig/rhn/rhn-entitlement-cert.xml ERROR:
rhn_parent is not set in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf
I think this step is what is supposed to be skipped by --disconnected,
so I wouldn't worry about this too much.

Not sure exactly what your error might be, does rhn-installation.log
have some more details you could provide?

Also this tends to bite Cent OS installs often:

Cheers,

Devan
