I've been trying to set up a spacewalk server on my CentOS 5 server, and then
register a CentOS 4 server. The documentation up through installing Oracle is
pretty good, but it's a bit spotty after that and some stuff just doesn't work.

- After installing Oracle XE, I tried to create a CentOS 4 channel. I told it
to create the channel, but didn't know from where to install the gpg key. I
started the steps found at
https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/CertCreation, but when I got to the
step "Install GPG keys into webapp", I don't know how to do that and haven't
found much that's helpful on Google.

- I also tried to create a new activation key for the channel. The install
docs don't mention exactly how to do this, but I found a message here:
http://www.redhat.com/archives/spacewalk-list/2008-July/msg00189.html, which I
followed. This seems to have created two keys, which I find odd, but okay.

- The biggest problem I have now is trying to get the client registered. I
followed the steps here:
https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/RegisteringClients. Specifically, on
the client machine, I did:
yum -q -y install usermode-gtk pyOpenSSL 1>/dev/null 2>&1
rpm -ivh
http://stahnma.fedorapeople.org/spacewalk-tools/spacewalk-client-tools-0.0-1.noarch.rpm
yum install rhn-setup

But I get an error that rhn-setup can't be found. So I tried a 'yum search
rhn-setup', and got nothing.
So then I tried 'yum search rhnreg_ks', and again found nothing.

Out of desperation I tried '# /usr/share/rhn/up2date_client/rhnreg.py
--serverUrl=http://spacewalk.<domain ommitted>/XMLRPC
--activationkey=1-e54b334a60068cd29c1a2ddac71fde26'

I get a prompt back on the client machine, but nothing else and the client
doesn't show up on the server under systems or the channel.

I'm pretty much stuck here....Help?

Thanks!

Ben
