Hi,

I changed the .sql file or removed the .sql file but what then?
If I run
[r...@devmx01 spacewalk-0.3-spacewalk-0.4]# /usr/bin/spacewalk-schema-upgrade
Unknown schema name [no rows selected] found.

How can I proceed with the upgrade from 0.3 to 0.4?

PS..the Oracle database is on another diffirent server then the spacewalk server.

Kind regards,

Michiel

Hi Jesus,

i got a problem with the oracle schema upgrade. It faileds and I got
this error message in the logfile:

SQL> alter TABLE rhnPackage MODIFY (compat number(1));
alter TABLE rhnPackage MODIFY (compat number(1))
                               *
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01440: column to be modified must be empty to decrease precision or
scale

True, this update won't work with table populated with data. Workaround
for this could be removing 156-rhnPackage-compat-number.sql from
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/schema-upgrade/spacewalk-0.3-spacewalk-0.4
directory. The upgraded schema should work fairly well even without
this modification.
