Hello,
I'm a lab manager for about 50 machines at a University.
My question is if I can use Fedora Core 7 Clients with my Spacewalk .4
installation.
I've found the src.rpm's for Fedora Core 9 and am in the process of
building them on Fedora Core 7.
Are there any issues I might run into going this route?
We will upgrade the lab to Fedora Core 10 eventually, but I would like
to simplify management now and try out spacewalk before that point.
spacewalk can manage almost any RPM based distribution. We can go all
the way back to RH Linux and RHEL 2/3/4/5 so Fedora 7 shouldn't be an issue.
If you can build them for F7 I bet it will work and feel free to bug us
with questions,
Mike
