This usually happens when your server is not accessible by the client. Few things to check,

* Is your server url right and accessible.

* make sure if iptables is running, its has holes for xmlrpc traffic to get in or if you don't care much disable it.

* Is apache is running successfully for the call to pass through the mod python layer

* tail your /var/log/httpd/access_log on the server when the rhnreg_ks is running and see if the traffic is atleast getting to the server.

Hope one of these might help. I'm guessing iptables is jus blocking your communication.

One other thing I noticed is there is no cert Admin tab -> Spacewalk configuration -> Certificate. Would this cause a client not to be able to register? Is there a way to have spacewalk auto generate the cert?

Thanks
Steve
