Hi folks,
I'm going through the effort of setting up my first spacewalk server and
I've run into a snag. I have been using the "step-by-step" instructions
posted over on the CentOS wiki[1]. (I'm installing on Centos 5.) I've
made it as far as running 'LANG=C; spacewalk-setup -disconnected' and it
makes it almost to the end when it errors like this:
* Deploying configuration files.
* Update configuration in database.
* Setting up Cobbler..
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/cobbler-setup", line 2, in ?
from cobbler.yaml import loadFile
ImportError: No module named yaml
I've verified that yaml and python both appear to be installed:
rpm -qa | grep -i yaml
libyaml-0.1.2-3.el5
PyYAML-3.08-4.el5
rpm -qa | grep -i python
dbus-python-0.70-7.el5
python-elementtree-1.2.6-5
python-2.4.3-24.el5
libxml2-python-2.6.26-2.1.2.7
audit-libs-python-1.7.7-6.el5
gamin-python-0.1.7-8.el5
python-cheetah-2.0.1-1.el5
mod_python-3.2.8-3.1
python-gzipstream-1.4.0-16.el5
python-netaddr-0.5.2-1.el5
python-sqlite-1.1.7-1.2.1
python-devel-2.4.3-24.el5
python-simplejson-2.0.3-2.el5
libselinux-python-1.33.4-5.1.el5
python-iniparse-0.2.3-4.el5
rpm-python-4.4.2.3-9.el5
python-urlgrabber-3.1.0-5.el5
Any ideas on what I might be missing or how to get past this step? (I'm
not much of a python guru, so debugging what looks like a simple error
with cobbler-setup has me stymied.) Thanks!
Josh
