I'm going to go ahead and answer my own question. I had forgotten that there were issues with pre-RHEL5 installers in that the boot parameters were limited to 255 characters. I had thought this was fixed in later versions of RHEL4 to increase it to like 2k and definitely explains why this works perfectly in RHEL5. Since Cobbler+Spacewalk generates such freakishly large kickstart URLs and I want to pass some other networking options configured in the "distro", is there any way to get this to work for RHEL4? I'm trying to install RHEL4.7 ... Does anyone have any insight they can lend? -- Andy Speagle "THE Student" - UCATS Wichita State University
