Hi
Anybody know if the issue reported by Josh Mullis was ever resolved?,
his email read as follows:
>>Re: [Spacewalk-list] failed to retrieve getPackage/package_name
[Errno 14] HTTP Eror 404: Not Found

I have the exact same problem. I register my rhel 5.3 client to my
spalkwalk 0.7 on Fedora 12......everything works as expected.
I then delete my rhel 5.3 client using the spacewalk UI.....UI delete
works fine
I then re-register my rhel 5.3 client to the same spacewalk 0.7 on
Fedora 12.....wait a few mins and run:
for i in headers packages metadata dbcache plugins expire-cache all;
do yum clean $i; done
and when I try and install something, I get:
".......
Total download size: 2.5 k
Downloading Packages:
Error Downloading Packages:
man-dhclient-0.0-2.noarch: failed to retrieve
getPackage/man-dhclient-0.0-2.noarch.rpm from test-channel
error was [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
[r...@tloninzerotouch ~]#
......"
I simply leave the system for some time (few hours) and run the exact
same command (up arrow) and it installs fine.
Any ideas?
