Hi,
I am havig trouble that some nodes doesn't seem to find any updates
through yum.
When I check the files in :
/var/cache/rhn/repodata/centos5
I see the following:
[r...@fac03 centos5]# ls -lash

9.4M -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9.4M May 16 03:27 filelists.xml.gz
7.4M -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7.3M Jun 10 09:56 filelists.xml.gz.new
28M -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 28M May 16 03:27 other.xml.gz
20M -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20M Jun 10 09:56 other.xml.gz.new
1.5M -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.5M May 16 03:27 primary.xml.gz
1.2M -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.2M Jun 10 09:55 primary.xml.gz.new
4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 877 May 16 03:27 repomd.xml
What are the .new files? Shouldn't they be the new .gz files?
Could this be the issue I am having with yum update does not find any
updates?
