Subject: Re: [Spacewalk-list] taskomatic repobuilding attempt 2
Since I've got an EPEL channel with over 5000 packages at the moment
which builds fine I suspect you've just got a "bad" taskomatic job in
the rhnTaskQueue table, which is leading to this "delete with null
entity" error.
If you stop spacewalk, delete the contents of rhnTaskQueue and start
it up again then you may find that taskomatic starts working again.
Thanks for your answer. I did exactly this and it still stops in the
middle of creating the xml files. I had 3 rows in there that are now
deleted. And now there is nothing in there, I redid it twice. For some
reason taskomatic still stops in the middle of creating the repo files.
Any more help is appreciated. Iw as thinking to increase the allocated
memory for the java process. Could that make a difference?
Andreas
I have basically now written a few scripts that will create the repomd files
from scratch. I think for the time being I will not use taskomatic for creating
repodata. Seems too slow and buggy.
If anyone is interested in those scripts let me know.
Cheers
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
If you are still willing to debug the issue, I'd love for you to check
/var/log/rhn/rhn_taskomatic_daemon.log for errors.
That should provide a clue as to what went wrong.
Thanks!
-Justin
