Hello,
I have been trying to figure out why my clients have not been updated about
new packages as they arrive via spacewalk-repo-sync. This lead me to check the
osa-dispatcher.log file which contained the following error message:
2010/07/15 13:20:25 -04:00 1835 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.__init__
2010/07/15 13:20:25 -04:00 1835 0.0.0.0:
osad/jabber_lib.setup_connection('Connected to jabber server',
'spacewalk.mydomain.com')
2010/07/15 13:20:25 -04:00 1835 0.0.0.0:
osad/osa_dispatcher.fix_connection('Upstream notification server started on
port', 1290)
2010/07/15 13:20:25 -04:00 1835 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.process_forever
2010/07/15 13:20:26 -04:00 3472 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.main('ERROR', 'Error
caught:')
2010/07/15 13:20:26 -04:00 3472 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.main('ERROR',
'Traceback (most recent call last):\n File

self.process_forever(c)\n File "/usr/share/rhn/osad/jabber_lib.py", line 180,

str(e))\nSSLError: (\'OpenSSL error; will retry\', "(-1, \'Unexpected

Which show osa-dispatcher connects to the jabber server but after that it goes
south. I have checked the hosts file and FQDN is in good order and the SSL cert
is located where the the rhn.conf looks for it. Running a fresh install of 1.0.
Can some please give me a pointer or two to sort this error out?
Thanks,
Edward
