For what it's worth, I have been trying CentOS 5.5 installs on
spacewalk 1.1 and it seems that installing on an existing disk image
leads to the installer freezing. Creating a new disk image to install
onto seems to get the install to work pretty reliably..

its not - i have seen it on non spacewalk RHEL 5.5 installs
