Hi all and thanks in advance for your help. I setup a Spacewalk server with the XE db engine and hit the 4 Gb limit. To correct this, I removed a channel (fedora) and began deleting its now orphaned packages. I have roughly 23,000 packages to remove, but am getting the following error when removing packages:
"Internal Server Error The server experienced a problem which prevented your request from being filled out. It may not be possible to execute this action at this time. Please help us correct this problem by contacting us with details of how you received this message." I've played around a bit and believe this must be some sort of time-out as generally, I can delete packages one at a time or in small groups, but some packages will time out even if they are the only one selected for removal. For example: autocorr-it-3.2.0-12.31.fc13:1.noarch (136.5 KB) fails with this error every time and I was just able to delete auto-destdir-1.11-1.fc12.noarch (24.8 KB) with no issue. The server isn't running on server hardware proper (still in testing) so your results may vary accordingly. So the question is, I have 23,000 or so packages to go. How can I delete these all in one go? I couldn't find a command line method of removing packages and I'm very new to Oracle. Any suggestions? Ron Parker
