Dear Trevor,
Marcus:
Unfortunately, I get no response from an OSA ping sent to my clients via
Spacewalk.
Please do not top-post.
Have you tried to delete /etc/sysconfig/rhn/osad-auth.conf and restarted
osad on the affected clients?
Btw. in our szenario, atm. OSA pings are working but remote commands not.
Kind Regards
Marcus

Dear Trevor,
I am using Spacewalk 1.2 under CentOS 5.5 with Oracle as its backend.
A few days ago, the oracle database
experienced an archive log problem due to running out of space. I
corrected this problem and was able to
restart my instance of Spacewalk; however, ever since that point,
osa-dispatcher is no longer causing clients
attached to Spacewalk to immediately pickup scheduled actions.
Following the logs for osa-dispatcher and
jabberd shows nothing for either process when an action is scheduled
via Spacewalk. Any assistance with
this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Are you still able to (OSA) ping the systems?
Kind Regards
Marcus
