Taskomatic does use those tables. But it doesn't work in the way you
change table contents and the jobs get rescheduled. We use an external
library that does the scheduling for us. So within taskomatic - you have
to do both - notify the external library about changes and modify the
table content.

To unschedule this particular task, use following API:
taskomatic.unscheduleSatBunch(session_key, 'compare-configs-default')
It's kind od hidden API to manipulate taskomatic configuration.

(Do not search for more documentation at this time, there isn't more.)
It's definitely not recommended to change rhnTasko* tables content
directly. It won't change the scheduling - in opposite - it would get
the DB out of sync with the scheduling service and there's no
mechanism,
how to sync it back.
