Mark, Fantastic advice,
I had the keys on the machine but I hadn't imported them into spacewalk or associated them with the build profile, I did this and straight away it's come to life, which as soon as you've said it makes sense, however it also puts contradiction to a conversation in the #spacewalk irc channel last night that the kickstart process didn't care about the keys, clearly it does and that’s really useful to know. Have you allowed EPEL (and the other channels) to be used for kickstart installs on that kickstart profile? (Systems > Kickstart > Profiles > $PROFILE > Kickstart Details > Operating System) 2. Have you loaded the EPEL RPM signing key into Spacewalk? (Systems > Kickstart > GPG and SSL Keys) 3. If yes, have you added it to the kickstart profile? (Systems > Kickstart > Profiles > $PROFILE > System Details > GPG & SSL) All of these need to be true before you can install a package signed with a key other than the base distro one.
