I've inherited a Spacewalk server (1.2) and I'm trying to find out why I
have differences between the results of a "yum check-update" on some
clients, what i see in the system profiles as needing updated, and what i
see as available in mrepo.

Example:

I run yum check-update on a client after registering it to spacewalk, no
packages listed to be updated.
I check the system's profile on the spacewalk web interface and the packages
listed look like what I have installed on the client, so the profile seems
to be in sync.
The Details tab lists 50 packages needing upgraded so I look at that list
and see there are indeed newer packages then what are listed in the profile.
I then look at the updated packages on the server in
/var/mrepo/rhel-5-x86_64/updates comparing some of the packages and there
are indeed newer packages in the mrepo.

Is there something out of synch somewhere? Any suggestions of places to look
would be appreciated.
