Sorry for the late chime in. Here are my observations with Spacewalk on Solaris. After some mucking around with some of the pm scripts to understand the new format, I was able to apply cluster patches to my test systems. However, I ran into difficulty when I started using spacewalk on production systems, as they included Zones and ZFS, which require steps outside of the cluster installer.
Very odd, because pkgadd/patchadd will work with zones online, but installcluster wants your zones down. Secondly, I had to manually upgrade my Zpools, which is not a shortcoming of Spacewalk, rather, installcluster. But if you don't have Zones or ZFS, Spacewalk works great.
