Hi ALL,

Do I have opportunity to push commands to remote Spacewalk client hosts? Can I restart boxes after patching by pushing command from Spacewalk server? Can I pushing backup o restore on them by command(s) from Spacewalk server? Where can I find doco for it?

Thank you,
Ivan

Schedule it, and then manually run
rhn_check -vv
on target system.
Yes it's downloading on target system. Is there any way I can push
from spacewalk server without going to the individual servers to get
it download .

If rhn_check download it without problem, then you can have one of this
problem:
1) rhnsd is not running. rhnsd service runs approximately every 4 hours
rhn_check. This interval can be tuned up. Or you can use osad to execute
it immediately.
2) you are impatient and you did not wait till rhnsd run rhn_check,
which pick up the task.

Thanks Miroslav !!

It was the SSL key was creating issues.. I have regenerate and deployed . "
https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/How_to_rename_or_change_a_satellite_hostname";
I have followed to do so.

I have tweaked the INTERVAL to 15 , it's working absolutely fine .

Using nocpulse user I am creating the probe fron UI. Client end rhnmd is
running and port 4545 is accessible from spacewalk server. I am able to
login using that ssh-dss key. Whatever the prove I am creating it's on
"PENDING, Awaiting Update" state.

SatConfig-generator is already installed. Selinux is in disabled mode. 775
permission is there for "/var/lib/nocpulse" .

Below is my "/var/log/nocpulse/execute_commands.log" files output.
