Given that most of Spacewalk's current functionality replicate RedHat Satellite, I would suggest starting from here: http://www.redhat.com/videos/kickstart.html Other than this, try to understand the architecture as described in https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/Architecture and do a lot of tail -f /var/log/*
