Yes, clone does work, but please try to rename the clone or an existing. The issue is not the creation of the cloneN but renaming an existing kickstart or renaming a cloned kickstart in sw 1.5 on postgresql.
Renaming worked fine for me. Selected a kickstart called 'slimtesting', and under Kickstart Details / Details change the Kickstart Label to 'minimal' and selected Update Kickstart.
