I see a similar issue, though in the end my RHEL 4 clients receive a 500 Bad Gateway message after a long while and I get a corresponding error in /var/log/httpd/error_log
My environment is SW 1.5 upgraded (I've started with 0.8 and upgraded each time to the current version) on CentOS 6. In my case, I've only got two RHEL 4 clients left so I've not even bothered to keep my channels synced much less track down these issues. What are your database details and what release of rhel4 is your client? What does a manual rhn_check come back with? -Josh From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Speagle, Andy Sent: Tuesday, November 29, 2011 10:30 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [Spacewalk-list] RHNSD & RHEL 4 Problems Hi Folks, Lately I’ve been experiencing a problem with my RHEL 4 systems with regards to rhnsd/rhn_check against my SPWK 1.5 system. I have rhnsd scheduled to check in every 15 minutes to look for tasks… and when it does, the rhn_check command just hangs… forever. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
