Hi I'm serving spacewalk-1.7 on a fedora 16 box with a bunch of cents-5 clients and sles11 clients. The centos ones behave nicely, but I'm having a bit of a problem with the SLES11 ones.
For SLES, i'm using spacewalk-client-setup found in the SLES repo, tagged with version 1.2. When i try to issue zypper search or install something from the server, zypper says : zypper search foo Refreshing service 'spacewalk'. Retrieving repository 'SLES11-Extras for x86_64 VMWare' metadata [\] Download (curl) error for 'http://spacewalk.ipf.webservices.frankfurt/XMLRPC/GET-REQ/sles11-extras-x8 6_64-vmware/repodata/repomd.xml?head_requests=no' Error code: HTTP response: 502 Error message: The requested URL returned error: 502 On server side i don't see anything wrong : Httpd Access.log 10.188.30.113 - - [26/May/2012:13:25:03 +0200] "POST /XMLRPC HTTP/1.1" 200 126 "-" "rhn.rpclib.py/$Revision$" 10.188.30.113 - - [26/May/2012:13:25:04 +0200] "POST /XMLRPC HTTP/1.1" 200 163 "-" "rhn.rpclib.py/$Revision$" 10.188.30.113 - - [26/May/2012:13:25:04 +0200] "POST /XMLRPC HTTP/1.1" 200 138 "-" "rhn.rpclib.py/$Revision$" 10.188.30.101 - - [26/May/2012:13:25:04 +0200] "POST /XMLRPC HTTP/1.1" 200 6244 "-" "rhn.rpclib.py/$Revision$" 10.188.30.101 - - [26/May/2012:13:25:04 +0200] "POST /XMLRPC HTTP/1.1" 200 6244 "-" "rhn.rpclib.py/$Revision$" 10.188.30.101 - - [26/May/2012:13:25:07 +0200] "POST /XMLRPC HTTP/1.1" 200 6244 "-" "rhn.rpclib.py/$Revision$" And rhn_server_xmlrpc.log 2012/05/26 13:25:04 +02:00 25549 10.188.30.113: xmlrpc/queue.get(1000010023, 2, 'checkins enabled') 2012/05/26 13:25:04 +02:00 18724 10.188.30.113: xmlrpc/registration.welcome_message('lang: None',) 2012/05/26 13:25:04 +02:00 25798 10.188.30.101: xmlrpc/up2date.listChannels(1000010019,) 2012/05/26 13:25:04 +02:00 18717 10.188.30.101: xmlrpc/up2date.listChannels(1000010019,) 2012/05/26 13:25:07 +02:00 25544 10.188.30.101: xmlrpc/up2date.listChannels(1000010019,) However sometimes (not always!) i see this in xmlrpc 2012/05/26 11:00:34 +02:00 19416 10.188.30.101: server/apacheHandler.handler('ERROR', 'Got a GET call, but auth_client declined', '/GET-REQ/sles11-sp2-vmware-updates-x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml') I'm not quite sure how to debug this further. Could anyone spare some hints?
