3 steps to address this issue 1) remove evolution from the channel your host is assigned to, or gets assigned to (or move to a separate channel)
2) add exclusion rule when you do package import/sync via spacewalk-repo-sync command. Example "spacewalk-repo-sync -e evolution --channel channel-name --url http://myurl/updated-packages --type yum 3) like Jan mentioned below, add an exclusion in kickstart file -evolution Good luck ilya -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jan Hutar Sent: Wednesday, July 11, 2012 7:51 AM To: J.W. slone; [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Spacewalk-list] how to exclude evolution from being installed with centos 5.7 On Mon, 9 Jul 2012 09:04:19 -0700 (PDT) "J.W. slone" <[email protected]> wrote: > How to exclude evolution from being installed with centos 5.7 in > spacewalk? In Kickstart profile -> Software -> Package groups you should be able to add: -evolution This would exclude the package "evolution".
