In order to use kickstart it is recommended that you use a child channel that
has tools for kickstart. Suppose you put the RPMs from an install dvd in a
repository under Manage Repositories and the spacewalk client tools under a 2nd
repository. Then in channels you make a parent channel that includes the rpms
from the dvd and a child channel that includes the rpms from both the dvd and
the Spacewalk client tools. Does this mean that you will end up with 2 copies
of every rpm under /var/satellite/redhat from the install dvd and thereby waste
3-4GB of space?
