Hi all! I have a problem with signed packages on a custom channel.
When I sign packages with my personal key using rpm-4.8.0-27.el6 and push it to my spacewalk server the key shown in "rpm -qip" differs from the key shown in the package details on the web gui. However, when I sign the same package with the same key using rpm-4.4.2.3-18.el5, the keys shown in "rpm -qip" and the web gui are identical. Example Package signed with rpm version 4.8.0: Package details on spacewalk gui: Signing Key: 025119e239000a09 MD5sum: 3508083f04a69a3a94e2d52156ebcfc7 File System Path: redhat/1/350/hpacucli/9.30-15.0/x86_64/3508083f04a69a3a94e2d52156ebcfc7/hpacucli-9.30-15.0.x86_64.rpm Package details using rpm: # rpm -qip /var/satellite/redhat/1/350/hpacucli/9.30-15.0/x86_64/3508083f04a69a3a94e2d52156ebcfc7/hpacucli-9.30-15.0.x86_64.rpm Name : hpacucli Relocations: (not relocatable) Version : 9.30 Vendor: Hewlett-Packard Company Release : 15.0 Build Date: Mon 24 Sep 2012 07:56:42 PM CEST Install Date: (not installed) Build Host: lxminion01 Group : Applications/System Source RPM: hpacucli-9.30-15.0.src.rpm Size : 18506329 License: See hpacucli.license Signature : RSA/SHA1, Tue 12 Feb 2013 07:33:30 AM CET, Key ID 4cfd19b1d63ac9d6 Packager : Hewlett-Packard Company URL : http://www.hp.com/linux Summary : HP Command Line Array Configuration Utility Description : The HP Command Line Array Configuration Utility is the disk array configuration program for Array Controllers. Any idea why that happens? I'm using Spacewalk 1.8 on Oracle Linux 6.3 Any help appreciated Regards Rene
