Hello, Some more information: there is a firewall between the master server and the proxy. The following ports are opened from the proxy to the master: tcp 80, 443 and 5269. Do I need to open more ports? Do I need to open some ports from the master to the proxy server?
Thanks, Pierre 2013/3/4 Pierre Casenove <[email protected]> > I've also checked that the master server could resolve the fqdn of the > proxy and that the proxy could resolve the master server name through DNS > (no hosts entriesthough). > I was not able to find the jabber config file that tells the proxy to > connect to the master. > Pierre > Le 4 mars 2013 18:50, "Pierre Casenove" <[email protected]> a écrit : > > Hello, >> I have a spacewalk 1.8 master server on rhel 5 and pgsql. >> I have a spacewalk proxy 1.8 connected to it on RHEL 6. >> >> My problem is that osad is not working for clients that connect through >> the proxy. >> The clients connect to the proxy server correctly on port 5222.
