I had the very same issue and was about to report. For me it was sufficiant to remove the package slf4j-0:1.5.8-7.el6.noarch perform the yum upgrade and reinstall spacewalk-postgresql (it was removed as dependency and it pulls all others in again). Afterwards I proceeded with normal upgrade routine and all went fine. Now happily running SW 1.9. Thanks for the hard work.
