Spacewalk 1.9; getting file conflicts in package (openssl) when applying
security errata:

Client execution returned "Error while executing packages action: Transaction

Errata Affected:
CL-SA-2013:0587 (Moderate: openssl security update)
Curiously, I can install at the client using "yum upgrade openssl".
The packages are present in the repository:
openssl i686 0.9.8e-26.el5_9.1
openssl x86_64 0.9.8e-26.el5_9.1
I tried pulling the individual rpms to /tmp on the client, and running rpm -Uvh
/tmp/tcl*.rpm and it returned the same conflicts as Spacewalk and rhn_check did
on the client. If I run rpm with the "-replacefiles" option, it installs fine.
The repos are hosted internally; repo-sync run nightly to sync to the Spacewalk
server channels.

How can I resolve this? A search reveals similar events reported from time to
time, but no clear resolution. Is it possible to enable -replacefiles to
automatically replace those files rather than fail the upgrade? Where can I
look for additional details and debugging?

Thanks for your attention to this; any help and tips or suggestions greatly
appreciated.

Best Regards,

Whit
