I've been using the rhn-clone-errata.py script by Andy Speagle since Spacewalk 0.5 and its been rock solid..until about the 13th or 14th. Something changed in the fetching of the errata and the script started importing errata from years ago even though I limit the publish to the previous 2 weeks.
I tried using the ya-errata-import.pl script and it seems to have the same issue: ya-errata-import.pl --server 127.0.0.1 --channel mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5 --redhat-channel rhel-i386-server-5 --os-version 5 --publish --redhat --startdate 20130906 INFO: Architecture is not specified, will try to determine it based on the channel properties of 'mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5' INFO: Setting the OS variant to Redhat, if this is wrong please remove the --redhat option INFO: Server is running API version 12 INFO: API version is supported INFO: Authentication successful INFO: User has administrator access to this server INFO: Checking if channel mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5 exists on 127.0.0.1 INFO: Determining architecture for channel mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5 INFO: Detected architecture 'i386' for channel 'mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5' INFO: Listing all packages in mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5 INFO: Listing all errata in mrepo-rhel-x86-server-5 INFO: Loading errata INFO: Getting erratas from date 20130906 till now INFO: Processing RHBA-2009:0060 (tcsh bug fix update) INFO: Skipping RHBA-2009:0060 since not all packages are present INFO: this should be fixed by the next channel sync, or the errata is already superseded by another one INFO: Processing RHBA-2009:0062 (wpa_supplicant bug fix update) INFO: Skipping RHBA-2009:0062 since not all packages are present INFO: this should be fixed by the next channel sync, or the errata is already superseded by another one INFO: Processing RHBA-2009:0066 (system-config-printer bug fix update) INFO: Skipping RHBA-2009:0066 since not all packages are present INFO: this should be fixed by the next channel sync, or the errata is already superseded by another one INFO: Processing RHBA-2009:0067 (python bug fix update) INFO: Skipping RHBA-2009:0067 since not all packages are present Has anyone else noticed recent troubles with publishing errata from Red Hat? I'm running Spacewalk v1.9 / RHEL5.9 x86_64. Thanks, Shane.
