I've been using Satellite since 5.2, but have only recently needed Spacewalk. I have a channel setup to sync Oracle Linux (yea I know, but I didn't make the decision) repo from: http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/latest/x86_64/ The repo is linked to the channel per all the docs I can find. I did all the initial syncs, and it looked pretty good. However, subsequent syncs are revealing a problem.
My clients show 20178 packages in the channel, the server shows 20259, the channel itself when I run "spacewalk-repo-sync" shows 25 thousand plus. How do I get what the clients see to match what the spacewalk server says should be there? Spacewalk is reporting that the clients have critical, security and bug fixes, but the client doesn't see them. Anyway, even though new here I've been around for a while, and any help on this would be appreciated. See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. System Admin John 3:16!
