Thanks for the reply ... How did you disable the taskomatic job ? Was
that done via GUI ? This scheduler seems to have very little doco about
how its confgured .. found an out of date page that suggested that jobs
could be re-scheduled in terms of when and how often but nothing up to
date .. I mean in the end how often do really need errat mailed out ..
quite happy if i could to schedule that just once a day .. but heck to
get this repo data generating reliably .. i'd disable altogether since
to me thats much more important functionality that needs to happen
reliably ....

Hey Matt,
Can confirm I've seen similar issues with my spacewalk instance.
I nuked/re-imported all my errata, which was a band-aid fix for a
while, and ultimately disabled that taskomatic job and disabled email
alerts for all user accounts which "resolved" the issue.

Seeing plenty of mail outs about errata but seems like the repo/yum
metadata tasks just stop being processed or sidelined. Have tried
searching for information about taskomatic but there doesnt seem much
information out there.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this ?? Is there a way to
view tasks in the queue ?? Am wondering whether the
com.redhat.rhn.taskomatic.task.ErrataMailer is just overloading system
.. is there anyway to just have this done once a day ?? Any help /
pointer to useful doco would be appreciated.
