Hello I believe you had realized some steps, btw check bellow:
- add jpackage repo - add epel repo - execute the command "yum install spacewalk-setup-postgresql" Just now you will execute the commands - yum install spacewalk-postgresql - spacewalk-setup --disconnected How are your selinux configuration ?! permissive or enforcing ?! my recommendation is change to permissive and after, if necessary change to enforce and check the context of files. About logs, check too in /var/log/rhn/* Take Care ______________ Atenciosamente Waldirio msn: [email protected] Skype: waldirio Site: www.waldirio.com.br Blog: blog.waldirio.com.br LinkedIn: http://br.linkedin.com/pub/waldirio-pinheiro/22/b21/646 PGP: www.waldirio.com.br/public.html On Wed, Dec 17, 2014 at 12:31 AM, Brian Ross <[email protected]> wrote: > > Waldirio, thanks for replying so promptly. > > > > I was following the installation instructions at > https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/HowToInstall > > > > I had carried out the step “yum install spacewalk-postgresql” > > > > I then progressed to the step, “spacewalk-setup –disconnected” > > > > As the ports which were required to be opened in the firewall step were > already open. > > > > As to “what was happening at the moment”, there was nothing else occurring as > the server is largely inactive.
