Waldirio,

Thanks for your reply.

I am running RHEL 5.10. SELinux is disabled. IPtables is disabled.

Which log files do you suggest I check?

Cheers

Brian

Subject: Re: [Spacewalk-list] Problems installing spacewalk server - take 2

Hello Brian, good morning

After your message I had installed maybe 3 times SW and without problem, have
you tried again ?! The problem persist if you re-install your env ?!

My recommendation (same in the first message) is check the log files in your SW
server, your problem is like, the installation is waiting something, but it's
not showed in the default output, btw you can check this is logs and probably
you will find.

Maybe one repo mistake in repo ..., what is the OS that you are installing ?!
OS Version ?! Have you disabled the SElinux ?!

Send us more info and we can try help you, but if you didn't tried re-install,
this is my first recommendation, maybe one simple detail will appear in the
next time. ;-)

Take Care

I am attempting to install spacewalk but have encountered a problem.

I get to the point where the installation program, when using postgresql
attempts to restart xinetd and tftpd services. All it does is hang, printing a
series of little symbols on the screen continuously. I've let it running for
four days and it still didn't go anyway.

The screen dump is:
