Hello All, I need some help in actually performing the VM provision via spacewalk. I've got the channels setup containing the many packages from all the different repositories. I've also got the Kickstart file completed as well.
I just can't figure out how to perform the actual provisioning of the virtual machines. Please help, Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Saturday, April 25, 2015 12:00 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Spacewalk-list Digest, Vol 83, Issue 32 Send Spacewalk-list mailing list submissions to [email protected] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/spacewalk-list or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [email protected] You can reach the person managing the list at [email protected] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Spacewalk-list digest..." I am trying to sync OL5 i386 You've picked the wrong architecture for your channel. The correct architecture for i386 distros is IA-32[1]. However, the correct architecture for 64-bit Linux distros is x86_64, NOT IA-64 (which is Itanium2). iSeries and pSeries are IBM mainframe architectures. Easy fix!! Now to try to add machines and push packages to them.
