Sure, no problem. The steps worked for me to replace the self-signed certificates with my own personal wildcard SSL certificate and it works fine. Note that it works best if you don't have any servers registered to Spacewalk. If you've registered any clients, you need to replace the RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT on all the clients as well.
