Maybe the sync job is started correctly by taskomatic, but the repo sync
itself fails?
I'd first try running a manual
spacewalk-repo-sync --channel yourchannelname
on the spacewalk server and have look at the output. If you're not sure
what yourchannelname is, you can list them with
spacewalk-repo-sync --list
