hey list, Im running a new install of spacewalk 2.4 and im testing it out with
a client thats registered
with the spacewalk server.. If I go to the server and do yum update somerpm, it
works fine.. If I schedule
an update of rpms through the gui, the job seems to be stuck in the schedule
page under " Pending Actions".
In the logs (im not sure if its related) I see a bunch of

Ive googled and this seems to be an OSAD/jabber issue ?
I found https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/JabberAndOSAD
and followed the instructions.. I was missing the servers fqdn in the files
listed..
but when I got to the /etc/jabberd/server.pem, when I look at the cert with
openssl, I do not see ANY server name
listed in there.. would this be the problem? should i regenerate a new one?

Jason
