Hello,
You should register systems in SP server via proxy, after this, you will see
logs in (on proxy machines):

1) Apache logs (all API calls)
2) Squid (package caching)
3) jabberd (for osad connections)

Here you can find some short description:
https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/proxy,
and also official Satellite Proxy Installation Guide is very useful.

Subject: [Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk proxies

Hi guys,

I've installed 3 proxies, I see them in SP under Systems->Proxies, But I can't
understand how it works, Since every time when I install packages I don't see
any activity on proxies in logs, all machines make requests to sp server

Thanks
