I'm honestly not sure, but I would think, that the client should contact the proxy and the proxy itself should contact the server and forward the answer back to the client.
I don't see the proxy connecting to the server. The proxy is contacting "localhost.localdomain"! This is the proxy itself, unless you are doing really ugly things within /etc/hosts
But as I said, 'cause I'm not using a proxy, I'm not sure, how the setup should look like. I would really check the proxy setup, so that it really contacts the server.
How is the log from the server looking?

I have and architecture composed by:
Spacewalk server : jabberd + osa-dipatcher
Spacewalk proxy : jabberd + osad : is this configuration correct or I need osa-dipatcher + jabberd here ?
Scpacewalk client : osad
The problem is when I had the configuration of Spacewalk server + Scpacewalk client the updates are done instantly, now by adding the SW proxy the updates takes more than 3 hours to be applied and this need to be fixed.
