Hello,
I spotted a typo. The correct syntax is: server.satellite.http_proxy = proxy.example.com:3128 Thanks, Nuno From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Nuno Higgs Sent: terça-feira, 26 de setembro de 2017 16:43 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Spacewalk-list] Error in proxy defs in spacewalk-repo-sync since upgrading to 2.7 Hello All, Found a workaround on that issue: a) Unconfigure the /etc/rhn/spacewalk-repo-sync/yum.cnf proxy setting. b) Enable/configure the server.satellite.http_proxy flag as suggested on <https://access.redhat.com/solutions/175053> https://access.redhat.com/solutions/175053 for file /etc/rhn/rhn.conf. server.satellite.http_proxy = <http://proxy.example.com:3128/> http://proxy.example.com:3128 Ive opened the bugzilla report 1496172 regarding the issue. Dont know if the /etc/rhn/spacewalk-repo-sync/yum.cnf has been deprecated, or if this is a bug. This is the log of the issue: 15:55:38 ====================================== 15:55:38 | Channel: rhel7serverpgdg94 15:55:38 ====================================== 15:55:38 Sync of channel started. 15:55:38 Repo URL: https://download.postgresql.org/pub/repos/yum/9.4/redhat/rhel-7-x86_64/ 15:55:38 ERROR: failure: repodata/repomd.xml from rhel7serverpgdg9.4: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. https://download.postgresql.org/pub/repos/yum/9.4/redhat/rhel-7-x86_64/repod ata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] curl#5 - "Could not resolve proxy: http; Unknown error" 15:55:38 Sync of channel completed in 0:00:00. 15:55:38 Total time: 0:00:00 Our /etc/rhn/spacewalk-repo-sync/yum.cnf is: [main] proxy=http://172.16.3.254:3128 The proxy is responding to requests and the issue only appears to be active on RHEL7.4. We have a pre-prod 7.3 Centos that is working without issues. If we remove the http form the config, the reposync halts with an error: Please set protocol http, https, ftp, socks, etc. Has anybody seen this? Thanks, Nuno
