2.7

well to start Suse wrote a guide on how todo this
https://www.suse.com/documentation/suse-best-practices/sbp-sumaforrhel/data/sbp-sumaforrhel.html
another option you could consider is if you want to is a project called splice
which is included in satellite 5.6 it synchronizes spacewalk with SAM

Hello,

I am not sure if this helps:

I would like to try it on myself but I am still trying on CentOS as it is
easier and safer, I don't want to make Red Hat angry if I register something by
mistake and they thought I am trying to use my license to patch my system
illegally, I am not sure yet how Red Hat control the patching if it allows
Spacewalk to download RHEL rpms, and then Spacewalk Server to spread RPMs to
other systems.

In my case I tried to install Spacewalk server on CentOS.

this may help too:

Betreff: [Spacewalk-list] Sync Repo from RHEL Channel

Hi Spacewalk Team,

I've just installed spacewalk on my environment.
Can I sync repo from redhat channel?
For example, I want to create repository rhel-7-server-source-rpms from redhat
to sync with my spacewalk server?
So that I can distribute the packages for all servers that we manage.

Thank you in advance..

Best Regards,

Ananda Arifianto
