if you are need to use a proxy for syncing external repo's with your spacewalk , there seems to be a problem with spacewalk 2.7/8
my workaround was to set the Variable server.satellite.http_proxy in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf
Environment Variables like http_proxy and https_proxy seem to be currently ignored.
Setting the proxy Variable in /etc/rhn/spacewalk-repo-sync/yum.conf produces erros with no sense.
