Are you asking for help and making a statement? If it’s the later, try
providing details of the errors you’re getting. With regards to older
spacewalk versions repos are still available so you’re package dependency issue
should be easy to resolve.

Subject: [Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk 2.6 CentOS 7 - Migrating data to Spacewalk
2.9 on new server

Hi,

I would like to migrate my Spacewalk 2.6 data running on CentOS 7.3 to a new
server setup running Spacewalk 2.9 on CentOS 7.6 I attempted to go through the
upgrade process by version listed at
https://github.com/spacewalkproject/spacewalk/wiki/HowToUpgrade<https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fspacewalkproject%2Fspacewalk%2Fwiki%2FHowToUpgrade&data=02%7C01%7C%7Cf308b0687164400a2a1108d6a89e79f6%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636881795929318212&sdata=LcxZIbMW66WW5AQzVEp%2FDRchHqjVW87GN4bXSZd37jI%3D&reserved=0>
but I encounter issues due to outdated package dependencies. When attempting
to update packages the Spacewalk application and site is no longer responsive
despite locking down packages specified.

Below are the current Spacewalk 2.6 specs

OS: CentOS Linux release 7.3.1611 (Core)
Spacewalk 2.6 with embedded PostgreSQL 9.2.18
tomcat 7.0.69
Apache 2.4.6
Software Channels: centos-7-base-x86_64 and centos-7-updates-x86_64
Self signed system generated SSL cert

Thank you very much for your assistance.
