I figured on putting a few things in here, but not going overboard.
1) MICROSOFT_EXECUTABLE replacement -- grab all /^text/, /^message/, and
/^attachment/ parts,
search for the base64 + uuencoded bits.
2) new rule to look for attachments of certain type/name. ie:
find_attach('^application', '\.(?:pif|scr|bat|exe|com|....)$')
People could add other plugins which would be able to call into clamav, or
norton/mcafee, or whatever
they wanted to call into. I still don't think we should be in the business of
virus/worm fighting, so a few
generic rules that we all use anyway would be fine.
